So there is a short version and a long version of the story. This is going to be the short version.

My NDE occurred in a near drowning situation. I was in very cold water.  I wasn’t choking on water but more so realizing that this body wasn’t going to survive the experience much longer. And with that realization and acceptance of it, I exited the body.

Then I was looking down at my body floating listlessly in the water, but what I could feel was absolute peace stretching forever in all directions. I realized I could simply travel into it in any direction and leave the earth and my body behind…. so I motioned to go.

And then a multilayered stack of voices spoke to me, they were all women and the lead voice was that of my physical mother …they all felt like mothers, they spoke at once and simply said “Don’t go yet.”

I then reflected that choosing to leave would devastate all my friends and family. And it would be a selfish decision…..so I came back, re-entered the body and got out of the water.

This is all I have time for this morning, I’ll write more later and answer any questions if I can. There was a great deal of accelerated consciousness going on throughout this experience. Much more so than the every day consciousness I was used to.

Very Long Version please! When you have the time, every little detail possible. Being able to talk to an NDE experiencer is a big deal and a treasured opportunity. Please see if you have the time to write out that and all your mystical or unusual experiences and thoughts here in the greatest detail possible.

The multilayered element you mentioned has to do with lots of what I have written on the forum in so many ways! So many levels! Multilayered ways! Amazing!

In that paper, the argument goes something like ‘hydrogen and oxygen are not wet, but water is’, which is to say the properties of water have the appearance of being things-in-themselves, but they always appear as a compound and are only in isolation when observed that way. This is called emergence, ants behave differently depending on how many there are, I think less than 25 ants act totally differently to a colony of 1000 or more.

Although dualism seems to be the view held by those who have had NDE’s and OBE’s, I think it is better interpreted as dualist monism, that is there is one reality, but it necessarily expressed in a dual way.

There was a great deal of accelerated consciousness going on throughout this experience. Much more so than the every day consciousness I was used to.

This is interesting, as the paper cites the phenomenon of cardiac arrest NDE/OBE where patients experienced better concentration, or concentration as good as usual.

It is widely known in the spiritual World that you need to “die” in order to “live” This doesn’t mean to actually die but to metaphorically die. If you reached death and you created a hologram in which your life story was expressed to you by you…then you have something that is close to the source. The source is the way or the meaning..or the purpose being and not doing. Since we are human beings….not human doings…its the ultimate goal of the creation to reach its individual purpose (you). This is actually my way of saying that your on the right track to find your purpose if only you can complete the story and learn something from it…like a Hero and then tell your story to others to influence the World. And everyone is a Hero in their own story…

Joseph Campbell has a good book called “The Hero of a Thousand Faces” which to me is first known collection of stories to be influenced by. They are confusing..yet interesting in the way the stories are told, because they have many similarities that they couldn’t possible have because the people who wrote the stories where from different places in the World. This is very significate and one has the question: How is this possible? Well, I personally believe it was the stars that gave people the means to express themselves in a way to justify the world around them. One needs to understand that one needs to put everything that makes him/her into a thought. Like, if you really wanted to “feel” like you where reading something like the “Hero of a thousand Faces” then you need to imagine you being there in that point in time. Like time travel but in the mind. Its possible to imagine anything if someone actually expressed it in a way to understand. I’m trying my best to be very clear. So after I read the book, I came up with my own conclusion about it.

I believe in influence and it has a certain power over us as Human Beings. We can’t choose the past but only accept that it was the right path it chose in order to get where are presently are. In other words, in order to accept your present state then you need to accept the past with everything you are. This is hard to do, but easy when you think of the power of  imagination has over the Human Being. Imagination has more power than influence because influence is set to be from the outside and imagination from the inside. Anything closer to the source or you, has more power over you.

That being said. The book is a total influence gold mine, where the “beginning” stories are expressed and every story after that, since that point in time is influenced by them. This is why the Hero archetype is the oldest I believe. So, the purpose of the book shifts from being just stories to then explaining how we actually grow or create. It is these influences that create the creation that is in our heads….because we physically weren’t there when the Hero did his mission or duty…but his interpretation of it. And this is why some stories depict some crazy, out of the physical world aspects such as Hercules killing a lion with his bare hands. So it becomes physical vs metaphorical notions. Or he said/ she said. This is why evidence is key to understanding…

In conclusion, we are all rehashed stories of old. We just put our face on the Hero and believe that we are Hercules when we hear the story. Its control. its a form of power that people in power have over others. The power of the Truth which is subjective to the Hero that actually faced the adversity.

P.S The actual conclusion that I got from the book is that someday there will be the Hero of a Thousand Faces…meaning the person who can shift into anything and be anything but in his mind…there for he is. Like I think, therefore I am, without any hesitation or feelings towards who he interacts with. This person is the last of the influenced. The final end. because everything that has a beginning, has a end. and then begins again to have another end. Never ending like a primordial spiral.
