Sometimes people are in positions where they can access direct source materials and individuals with information one might be interested in.
I can’t seem to find a complete list of the 234 identified names of Gods in Ugarit and their epithets and the meanings of these names and their context.
I would also like a family tree of Canaanite or Ugaritic and South Arabian or Ancient semitic Gods and powers or the complete lists which start with El at the top but can’t seem to find these neatly listed online.
If one of you could go to the big library or museum and get this information for me and post it on this website it would be of tremendous value.
I am also looking for the 70 or 72 sons of El or Asherah
The 72 Nations of the Table of Nations, their names, the meaning of their names, and their modern location and their ancient supreme dieties.
A map created like a circle with Mecca and the Kabba at the center and the rest a circle around it. The range of the circle can encompass the whole world and can be turned upside down from traditional.
I am looking for a complete list of ancient stars, their names and meanings and associations cross culturally including the planets and other astral bodies of note.
A list of all the famous constellations with a special focus on Sanskrit, Veduc, Persian, Mesopotamian, Arabian, Greek, and Roman as well as medieval ones all listed.
I am looking for a complete list of the 72 angels and their names, the 72 demons which they may correspond to, the stars and constellations they correspond to. There are 36 decans and 72 malevolent stars in Chinese numbering 108.
A list of the 7 divine and infernal spirits from Zoroastrianism and a list of all yazatas and demons in their dualistic or antagonistic pairs.
Any similar lists.
From Egyptologists any information leading to a complete list of the 72 accomplices of Set from Egyptian history and their dates, and any mentions of 72, 27, 360, 108, and numbers like that including 7 and 9.
A map which super imposes an astral map of stars, particularly the 72, over the 72 nations of the table of nations.
I can’t get these things from where I am or make them on my phone but getting hold of these and posting them here would be enormously helpful.
Also the etymologies and meanings and numbers of the 27 letters of the major alphabets like Hebrew Greek Phoenician Arabic. Arabic splits shin at 12 and makes sin at 13 so those can be reunited as one to keep the number at 27.
A list of the 27 lunar mansions and their signs and symbols and animal associations from around the world.
A list of the 72 angels and 72 demons and the origins and etymologies of their names.
A list of ancient relevant Gods and Angels and demons based on their ancientness like those found in the Bible and Enoch and their names meanings and star associations.
The 5 or 7 prime luminaries.
Generally one may find One, then 3, then 7, then 9, the 7 leading to roughly 10 each, the 9 leading to a total of 27 and then maybe 81 and 108.
A list of Archons and Cosmokrators.
Please use what resources you can to find these and access scholars and museums and sources and major libraries or institutions to do so and post the full results here and let me know each time as I am really in search of these but can’t get or make them yet so hope to petition those of you who can and are willing to.
[hr]
Also, it is rather urgent.
[hr]
If all these and any relevant and thorough and additional information and their sources can be listed and posted here when collected from the resources it would be a huge gift to humanity, the internet, mankind, and me! Since then I will be able to put the material to use. Also the 81 names mentioned in the Qur’an
The names often translated rather than taken as names in the Bible such as Rephesh and their Canaanite or Near Eastern, Arabian or Ugaritic counterparts.
The naming should not perhaps go much further than the Testament of Solomon, Book of Oberon, work of Weyer, Jewish lists, and the Solomonic writings from medieval times.
Greek and Roman comparative lists of Gods matched to international or foreign Gods is important too and lists of those as complete as possible would be of great help as well and should be included.
Thank you so much! Whoever can accomplish this! It will be put to great use!
23/04/2017 at 13:00 #19024I don’t think I can do all that but I can try. I have abook on the history of astrology but it’s quite vague. Then there’s a book on the gnostics, by Charles William King, but I think his overview that knowledge is sketchy possibly that all religions come from Hinduism and Zoroastianism.
23/04/2017 at 14:05 #1902323/04/2017 at 15:30 #19025As to the 72 acomplises of Set to murder Osiris it comes to us from Plutarch. I can’t find the original version but he may not name them. I will look for this.
23/04/2017 at 17:42 #19026Thank you very much. This was just a call since you all may have access to resources locally or more near to you than I do, resources such as experts at universities, museums, galleries, and libraries, access to libraries, emails, antiquities departments, historians, near eastern studies experts.
You have access to send out proper emails or letters to nearby people and even better access to computers and other things.
I have researched these things myself exhaustively as well, and some of what I mentioned are online but not listed out or able for me to list out in a comparitive list due to my phone and its copy pasting troubles.
It is pretty frustrating and irritating that so many documents mention the 234 identified Ugaritic deities but never provide a list of their names, and so I thought surely some expert at oneof the Universities there or some one you all may have access to would be able to gather all this actually extremely important information and post it all here neatly in combination lists that are text since my phone is still completely full.
Anyway though, I can tell you what this is all about because it is not random but everything I requested is connected and going to be jumbled up.
I could throw in another few requests as well which can go even more broad, a list of all the typical elements of nature from the view of the Ancients.
For example, Sky was something each person saw, so around the world there is the name for Sky like Varuna, Uranus, Anu, and whatever else each etymologically meaning Sky or referring to the Sky. There was the sun and the moon and the brightest small light in the sky, the morning star as well as the evening star which are both Venus but each of those should be listed seperately so far as the Ancient people may have.
All such lists of elements and themes in reality had a topper too, Chaos, El, Takami Musubi No Kami, or whatever else was considered the first from which others emanated or originated or which was before everything. After each name should be an etymology of the name.
It comes all the way down to major animals like The Eagle, The Bear, The Fox, The Snake, The Dog, The Wolf, The Boar.
Even prior to these are certain themes that are internationally shared like Love, Justice, Contract, Promise, Revenge, Murder, Strife, and before these are elements like Darkness, Light, Wind, Word, and whatever else.
Now the reason for all this is that the Ancient world and Ancient thinking seemed to across the board have more similarities than differences.
I will tell you two stories.
The first story is that of God and numbers.
God or the Power is whatever is first and always and Most. Many came to represent it by a big circle, the All Encompassing which itself is a big 0.
This 0 appears like Nothing, a void, the first meaning of Chaos, but is Action or Power which can not be known or understood except through appearance and change.
0 leads to 1. 1 encompasses a few concepts but represents knowledge of being, like the letter I even as compared to negative presence or the place, now there is the object, a representation of power also in upright appearance or even the phallus of creative production and sovereignity.
Then from 1 it splits to 2, which also represents creation, and in consciousness, response after question. Each of the numbers, reflects the number before it or echoes it in a new way.
For example 0 is first presence, 1 is the presence or awareness, 2 the reply and there are two symbols before it. The symbol of 2 also looks like a sickle, which represents dividing and was a major theme in the Ancient World, the splitting of One Mass of Heavens and Earth into two and spreading them apart.
This also connects to many Ancient Occult mathematical things like the point, the line, the two lines, the triangle as enclosure.
The next number is 3, echoing two, it is the first enclosure or boundary or person or thing, a distinguished object, representing a first completion or finality. It is a number of order and containment and limited stages in so many senses.
The next number is 4 which is the first multiple of 2. 2 can also resemble a man bending away fromtheir shadow or diving into their shadow, a diving into representing multiplication, a diving away representing division, a looking at the points or ends representing addition and the total of actual points including the middle foretelling the next number. Subtraction being the first shadow, addition being acknowledgment of presence.
The 4 represents death. You can see the remnant triangle from the 3 but a downward extension as life goes on on the horizontal bar. This is only representing the shadow, origin, and end of the object, it is the number of a complete cycle, and its multiples will also represent complete cycles, for example 8.
5 has typically represented man, mind, memory, but also represents submission or slavery or destiny and magical influence or yoking, even the symbol can resemble a heavenly layer imposing upon an incomplete cycle. 5 fingers, 5 times or periods of the day, and prostration called the 5 points sometimes as well, and 5 senses, and man having a head, two arms, two legs. 2 is the first number associated with Mind or Memory, as well as the Moon, 5 is associated with Venus due also to its transit pattern around Earth which is represented by 1 and is the first number also representing Man or person, the first odd number, 0 counts as neither even or odd really.
One finds all these strange seeming notions repeated throughout the world by a variety of cultures that somehow were inspired in the same sort of thinking even from disparate parts of the world.
After 5 comes 6 the number of Division in several senses as 3 and 3 or two objects, it is an upside down 9, 9 being the number of first unity or another limited completion.
7 represents Heavenly Imposition again, the rules, but also the way to ascent in some senses or in its reverse. So remembering division and multiplication it can give clues as to the next numbers. The image of Going Into, like the bottom point climbing up to the Heavenly Bar leads to 14 and there are 7 steps to that commonly spoken of, and 7 Heavenly bodies of imposition to also master or learn from in the ancient traditions. 5 and 2 extra. The two extra theme will repeat as well.
8 is the Infinity, and winds back down showing two cycles one atop another like two cogs, as in Heaven as in Earth.
9 represents the ascended, entering the higher cycle or the higher cycle bringing down information so it has been associated with revelation and inspiration very commonly. It also is a number which represents multiplicity of the same and repeated appearances, divination through all limited forms or 3s but only the first layer of this in a grid. This 9 square grid will play a big role in things, and its higher or multiplied form is in 3 times 9 or 999 as 27, the Cube or Perfect Cube, an encompassing form or message from a number of angles or 3 dimensional understanding.
Finally, there is 10, representing the new 0 but this time accompanied as an acknowledgment since it is a recognition that represents God or a complete set of 123456789 plus 0 making 10 and a full circle with one below it as 0 and above it as 10, the acknowledged God.
It continues from there though, generally up to a great many numbers which each echo or reflect versions of their ancestor numbers or originals. For example the 10 being the base number for the Godly layer, the 11 then repeats what the 1 was, but this time has been associated with Heavenly beings or messengers, Angels. The 1 which represents the 1 or stands in its place, 11.
The 12 is associated with time, which divides the 1 into 2 in another way than the prior 2 but can be themeatically related.
Now the view was generally that from the origin, there are these ever expanding manifestations, each growing more obscure while less abstract and more material as well.
So the 360 was a multiple of 72s, 9s, 3s, and 1s.
The 72 has 5 faces, meaning that 72 times 5 is 360.
Also, numbers based on the meanings given to them become like a code or language. Anything with a 0 has some relation to God, anything with a 1 also but with a focus of force rather than just base or being, on mentation or intent or activity. 3 is the Object made of Being, Question and Response, 0 combined with 1 and 2 making 3 parts and a whole object which is limited or distinguished by apparent borders.
6 is the number of division. The codes run in multiple ways. 360 has to do with limited divisions or dividing of the whole or base circle or God. 5 faces then throws back to 5 as the number of personhood.
In any case though the ancient people, like those of the Semitic oe Akkadian or Arabic language families as well as the Egyptians and others, had made a 360 point division, with 5 72 parts.
They had also divided 360 into 3 5 7 and 9 parts variously.
The 7 were chief aspects or emanations, which then had their 7 opposites also using 2 as a divider.
These 7 then extended over 10 more each, and those then continued to brach out.
The whole world of known nations were thought to fall under the various dominant influences of one or the other. They also divided into 4 for directions and 8 for extra directions and 10 for even more directions or a sphere, and then even more by taking 8 laying flat and 8 intersecting it to make 8 by 8 or 4444.
The Nations were joined to Supreme Emanations who were joined to Stars though everyone largely was interested in the same highly visible celestial bodies, the nations were given animals too, then each individual had their name which was their destiny or irony, they had their dominant force which ruled over their personality and decision, their star, their God leading back to one overall God.
Set was associated with the God and religion of the Near Eastern people, who believed God had 72 emanations or Natural forces which acted as splintered forces or extensions. These 72 are also associated with powerful or malovent stars, and appear later as the 72 names of God, 72 angels, and 72 demons, who had 72 stars and constellations and animal associations stemming from a main 7 and 2 extra for 9.
So the three divisions were Heaven, Sea, Earth or Heaven, Sea, Earth, and Under Earth and elements of Air, Water, Earth, plus Fire, but also Darkness and Light, or other extras.
They had categories like bird, man, crawling, and four legged and hoofed and whatever and then outstanding examples divided from each, like the Raven was extremely popular around the world, the Fox, the Feline divided into Lion and Tiger and Cat, the Canine divided into Wolf and Fox and Dog, and many other sorts of things.
The Fox was connected to mentation and wit and wildness and many other things as was the Raven, and the Raven was connected to the Storm and Death aspects and associated with stars and constellations associated with all these concepts, where the Fox was also but associated more with trickery and invention or ingenius solutions and how to escape entrapment or entrap other things. The lion was associated with roaming and terrorizing and prowling, the wolf was associated with exile or being kept at bay and thievery. People were named after these popular animals and were thought to carry their attributes and signs, even their names were at times numbered or had numeric signifigance or they had special numbers.
These systems often fell apart when they were made too strict or formal and restricted the freedom with which they could adapt.
The main focus though is on El, the 72 children of El, the 72 accomplices of Set, the 7 and 7 main themes meaning the theme and its opposite as hinted in the Testament of Solomon which continued some very old transmissions though it is likely to be somewhat changed over time in its references, it seemed to associate Asmodeus or Aeshma, Wrath, with The Bear, a popular symbol for wrath which even appears in the Bible and was a xrafastar or noxious animal in the Zoroastrian view which had taken over the Semitic Empire largely.
So these lists would be hugely helpful for me in gathering and sorting the connective lists which will then be included in my upcoming work and presentations in art and film.
The 72 Malovent Stars or bandits of the Water Margin, Chinese stuff, can help provide the necessary clues, but even Sanskrit literature has these corresponding aspects.
Humanity itself stemmed from one family and one people who at the border of East Africa and Arabia were thought to have then branched off into more people from one genetic and linguistic group.
Mecca was an Ancient area considered an important marking point for the center of the world, which circled away from it, like El was considered the center or King of the the Assembly, circled away from which appears to have largely influenced the Greeks as well as the Persians.
Arabia was said to have Hubal, who had one metallic hand like Tyr, and the Medieval people spoke of Termagant and the Saracens strangely. Arabia maintained an extremely Anxient religion which was reformed or supposed to have been taken to something even more Ancient and essential by Muhammed known in the French as Baphomet and the English as Mahound. There were said to be 360 idols likely placed in a circle and the directions of the Cube were coordinated to the 4 directions of the Compass and the sky was observed in relation to the Earth and the Kabba acted as a central point of reference and Ancient observatory for this Astral Religion of associations which was not much different from the Mesopotamians and Akkadians and Etruscans.
The Arabians were particularly fond of the Morning Star which appeared in Medieval writings of the Saracens as Lucifer so bright, and the final or “third of three” as Apollyon or Ap Olluein which represents Destruction and Death and negation and happens to also sound like Allah, since Greeks had formerly said of the Saracens that they worship Dionysus who is thought to be Rudra/Shiva as Orotalt which some think may be a misunderstanding of Allah Ta’ala, God Almighty.
Whatever the case may be, these correspondences occurred one way or another and fit well regardless of the knowledge or intentions involved in any unobtainable original thoughts.
We find in popular demonology and Angelology, many of the figures are representations of the samme and refer back to the morning star or Venus but with different emphasis.
Another strange aspect to this all is that it appears these symbols are still being used by people, even unwittingly, and for the more mystically minded, appear to represent a somewhat consistent and formal communication style to human beings which finds its way into just about anything at all, art, symbolism, color theories, and much more.
[hr]
So finding the lists, sending out the specific requests to specific professionals and myseums, universities, and librarians, and historians, and gathering and collecting and posting all the information with a special focus on etymologies and ancient lore and associations isn’t actually very hard to achieve overall or even very time consuming really, plus its an endeavor which basically provides an understanding of the religion of the Ancient World and their comparitive thought or at least the most influential religions in the world.
[hr]
I would continue my mission without the lists but those lists keep getting mentioned but never listed or provided anywhere on the internet except some of the later ones I mentioned.Collating and posting all that information here or in a single place would provide a huge gift to researchers around the world and greatly assist me as well.
[hr]
The 72 Nations and their corresponding places and their 72 Gods and the family lists of Gods of the Mesopotamians and the Greeks who adopted much from them, and the various 72s which have been retained and may be able to be matched up and sorted based on their names and associations may be very helpful.
[hr]
Another issue is that modern correspondence lists are often largely false and baseless or based on the wrong sorts of things which have long since shifted. They are not appropriately usable and are not the same or in accord with Ancient themes and ideas which were widespread.
[hr]
To make it more fun, try to see the signs in the world and make the efforts like a treasure Hunt or an Indiana Jones or National Treasure sort of adventure. It will also help to elucidate things as far fetched seeming as Shakespeare, Marlowe, Goethe, Milton, Blake, Dante, Virgil, Homer, Hesiod, Plato, Zarathustra Zoroaster, Weyer, Pseudodionysus, The Bible, The Quran Koran, The Zohar and Kabbalah, and much more!More sources are available now than they were to 19th century investigators or those earlier.
[hr]
It can be a joint effort, using your resources like computers and nearness to facilities, you can even video tape it and turn it into some other things. For me, the main point is getting hold of the information and it being collected and posted in one place together. I am working on it as I amable from my phone but I can’t even copy paste properly on it or do much and even my emails are barely functional. So I thought this might speed things up since each of you have access to more and are even nearby places, and I can barely even move with this chest injurt Costochondritis.
[hr]
3 and 4 were both asdociated with season and the sun variously. Hesiod mentions 3 season, while it was common to grid the sun into 4 squares.
[hr]
The tasks shouldn’t be too hard overall to find a number of experts on.Slightly harder tasks are a complete list of names from the Bible with their meanings or etymologies, the hidden Gods of the Bible, terms like Wealth, Disease, Strife, a similarlist from the Qur’an including all titles mentioned or objects sych as sky sun and moon.
The South Arabian Religions Ancient Gods and their origins like Attar from AsDarTu or AsDarUt
The South Arabian Religion described, a full pantheon and list of stars and sumbols. Later Arab and Islamic Astrology and Baghdad Astrology, Constellations and Stars.
Those are a little harder since there may not be too many experts familiar with them or access as much or even much verification.
A list of the supposed 360 idols or Gods of Arabia.
26/04/2017 at 19:39 #19047” Yeah. No I wouldn’t want any purchases made on behalf of that. Plus I checked so many books already that I could, I even have some laying right next to me.
I think the best bet, stuff I can’t do on my phone, is to see if it can be found online for free or in pdf files of some sort. I have those as well and have checked through most. That is all free and probably unecessary since I have done it pretty much.
The part I thought people could do, is find the names of experts, multiple experts in various universities and email them some of the relevant requests that pertain to their specialty area of knowledge or access. When they respond, to post the information and their name and who they are as the source of it.
I also thought if you are in contact with University students or teachers or visiting Museums or Libraries with experts or which contain certain materials, you could interview them and petition whatever thing pertains to their expertise.
Skipping all that if it is not your personal area of interest, then maybe a collection of emails can be acquired of various experts I could contact who would know each thing.
The problem is, I have contacted in the past many experts and professors and they seem to be more impressed with my knowledge and not seem to know much themselves somehow which really sucks since they are supposed to be the specialists.
They keep making documents which mention some of the first things I mentioned like the 234 from Ugarit and never list them! Nothing is going to be particularly impressive about these lists either, they are expected to just be names of natural things, concepts as well possibly, put in whatever orders they were put possibly based on priority or value but also possibly by what was deemed the first to the latest or most active.
There are all these people sitting in their cushy academic jobs but barely interested in or doing anything.
At the end of the day I will move ahead without the information or may not find it very useful even if I had it, but having it collected in one place would be a wonderful resource, especialy considering how often these things are mentioned but never shown.
In other cases of my requests, the information is available online for free right now on pages, but I can’t copy paste things properly on my phone which is the main problem also with some aspects of what makes my doing this so hard and why I wanted to petition other people to get it as fast as possible, because the research has already been done, the researchers are everywhere since these are very common areas of study and access and nothing about it should have been neglected by them according to their areas or they may have colleagues who know.
Since this information should be quickly accessible to them, I was hoping people could pursue multiple different experts to get to see if there are differences in their responses or etymologies.
I am pretty sure if the emails are sent out responses should start coming in rather fast.
The questions to be asked are based on their specialty areas and those areas are mainly:
People who would be familiar with the 234 from Ugarit.
People familiar with Angelology and Demonology in a Historical sense.
and whatever other areas I mentioned, like Ancient Astrology and Astronomy.
The goal here is to collect the infoemation for display and easy access and to see if it is possible to extract benefit from it and coordinate it in such a way as to see or find it as continuos in majorly influential things like the Bible, Quran, and other media even unconsciously.
Its mainly those few lists mentioned in books which no one completely spells out or says which the experts should be able to provide easily. It is so annoying that they keep mentioning it without demonstrating it.
I also don’t find it incredibly important in a serious or spiritual sense, because I expect most of the things mentioned are going to be things like wheat and sea and whatever, stuff I even probably know already besides not viewing it in a very heavy or interested sort of way since it may not be very usable afterall for me.
I made the other thread in the Occult area for the purpose of attempting to further correlate and organize some of the information. Like Thunder is Thunder wherever in the world or whatever language, and weirdly certain common associations seemed to be linked like certain constellations and stars by widely diverse cultures.
Performing a sort of Greek comparison with the amount of access we have today to a wide variety of sources, information, and experts through emails and local opportunities would make quick work of it and collecting the names of things and attributes and epithets commonly associated with God.
This may assist me with my evangelistic efforts, or I may just keep quiet but at least have a place where it is written and saved to point people interested to. “
