I just presented some figures for the spending in the UK to one of our fellow Brexiteers, who was concerned about health tourism and yet, will not be voting for Corbyn. hmmmm
Health tourism costs around £200 million/y but the NHS costs £116 billion/y or so, which isn’t a dent really when compared to the things Brexiteers DO support without question – Brexit will cost us £66 billion per year and Trident costs £5.56 billion/y.
When presented with the figures, they backed off with a request to kiss their ‘white ass’, which I am sure is how the budget was worked out by the Sun and Daily Mail.
I am concerned that Brexiteers are not really about saving the NHS and instead bring up talk of budgets to mask racist bigotry.
