So you bring up the Quran to see how others receive it?

All I can recommend is you write REALLY long posts in another application away from a web browser editor that is never 100% guaranteed to be reliable and then copy and paste it.

My other recommendation is to try and keep your posts shorter.

I will turn the autosave on, but I think it may lag.

It’s okay, you don’t have to do that. Just saying for future reference.

Terrorism, in particular, suicide bombing, was a reinterpretation of the scripture by Assad and is not inherently in the scripture.

Great reply, but it would have made a great thread on its own as it covered a specific topic, just saying.

Thanks for sharing. I would suggest there is only ‘indifference’ as evil would require a relation to good.

This is where I guess I should question Derrida’s Differance, which is not of our experience but of being and is transcendental. Differance is Justice and it is always calling to us. I think Derrida is referring to Nietzsche when he says we are valuing animals – while we live (and are dying) we value everything, that is part and parcel of being-in-the-world as such.

Anyone have any more thoughts on this? We briefly revisited this topic in the capitalist society thread.

At least they have policies and managers, most of the service industry are self employed or sub-contracted, so they have practically no rights.

I think its silly and doesn’t represent what I consider to be magical which is generally and even ultimately unintentional and an accident of circumstances, dependent and beyond actual will or control and determination at the highest and in the most immediate sense.

I think you have an interesting definition there. When I create music, or write, the best stuff (the magic) comes from accidents, rather than some perfected method.

I often have problems with people and find it very hard to be told what I should and shouldn’t do. The imperative is my problem.

                            This meets with @”kFoyauextlH” here:

The purpose for these radical statements is to bring to mind certain truth which lead us back to solutions. Things that may come to mind are “whose to decide what is good for me?” this is why I call these things thought programs.

If you want to step outside the box, the imperative is not to get caught.

^This reminds of something Spinoza says, goes along the lines of ‘Punishment does not deliver feelings of guilt and regret, but rather embittered feelings of what terrible misfortunes have befallen me that I was caught!’.

I will get to that as soon as I can. Today I may get a card for my phone to make space for more files.

^This…is on topic for the Techy Stuff section lol 😉

I am in Canada. What are some ways I can avoid working and make enough money to survive with a partner as you do and focus on creative things?

The main thing is how prepared you are to live on the minimum – we are going to move onto a boat later on in the year, so that will bring costs down and reduce the need to work many long hours.

If you can in some way keep moving around and live in simpler ways, that is the key to being a creative person in a capitalist society. Vancouver Island has lots of artists, who sleep outside in trees or camp in the woods, but that’s only possible for now until they begin to become enclosed.
