Place has nothing to do with efficacy. Thanks for the link.
@”thetrizzard” Thanksman. Will check them out today.
Well, I’d like to mention and recommend not well known British psychological thriller ” the exam ” from 2009.
Will check it out, thanks!
Post the riddles in the philosophy section with a [Question] prefix.
I guess maybe people wouldn’t die and would stop reproducing when necessary.
This is the problem when talking about ideals in a ‘pressure point’ political way. I don’t think this would be the case, I think you would have a never ending production line.
Post-humanism narratives of cyborg progress are only going to be for those who can afford it. Most likely to get to such an ideal world we will have a scenario not unlike the matrix, the island or some other ‘the production becomes consumed’ modes of action, where the superfluous are harvested for organs and other biological material to get to the kind of technology that can eliminate all illness and offer spare parts – life is defined by death, our aims and happiness are all drives that stem from knowing death is coming.
In this world all diseases are curable and malfunctioning organs can be easily replaced with bio-mechanical replacement.
How would people die? Death is a vital necessity for life.
How do you think languages came to be?
It doesn’t create reality, it informs our experience of reality.
Thanks to you!

Haha. Appreciate it. The guys at my job got tired of talking to me because I can go pretty deep! I found your video by chance on youtube and you mentioned your forum. I think this is a awesome place to express oneself. 🙂
Great stuff! Seen your other posts and while I have nothing else to add to them at the moment, they are pretty good. Hope you enjoy your stay! There’s so much to browse through on here after only six months!

Oh haha, well you can do one too and you can also move this one elsewhere.
I added a shorter version of Berkeley’s main arguments in the first reply so that noobs can just get to grips with the main point of Berkeley.
The idea of the beginners zone is to use it as a reference for other posts in the more detailed sections, so we can add our own points of view of Berkeley’s arguments in another thread and then provide the link here so that anyone who doesn’t grasp the argument can see it in its raw form.
I will leave this here, it’s fine.
I think that depends on perspective, I was thinking of the King as an ideology, be it capitalism, growth, progress etc.
The Will to Power is pretty much the ontology of life. Another way of phrasing it is ‘Will to Freedom’. We are all expressions of the Will to Power as power is a two way street – domination and resistance, although it does have other expressions in discourse, knowledge is power, we learn to get an advantage in life for example, when we were very young and we incorporate values, desires, actions, ideas and beliefs from those around us, we do it because of power, to grow strong and be the best we can possibly be.
